Marwan Jalaleddine

PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at McGill University

Research Focus: |

I am a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at McGill University, working in the Integrated Microsystems Laboratory. My research focuses on modern Error Correcting Codes (ECCs) used in communication systems for 4G, 5G, and 6G technologies.

My work spans polar codes, Reed-Muller codes, and LDPC codes, with particular emphasis on hardware-efficient decoder implementations and novel decoding algorithms.

I am currently looking for industry or academic positions for 2025/2026 in the areas of channel coding, digital communications, and machine learning for communications.
